Tell us about yourself:
A 25 year old struggling Pisces/Aries with an insatiable appetite for all that is true, beautiful, & real in this world, an unapologetic dreamer and wanderer, always on the verge of never, ever giving up!

Tell us about your jewelry line:
Native Daughter embraces femininity in its essence and represents conscious evolution of each individual soul. It is about unity in diversity and the purest kind of growth born of genuine acceptance.  With the use of natural elements such as stones, crystals, bones, feathers, and leather I try to capture moments of time on this grand journey we all share, in the pieces I make, and invoke a certain spirit in the wearer.

Why did you decide to join The Collective?
Because “you gotta do more than just believe, if you want to see the world change.” Quote from DM.
It is most important to me to be involved in something actually making a difference, because otherwise, what is the point of it all? Eventually I dream of Native Daughter becoming a fair trade collective and working with women artists in other countries using their traditional methods of creating to help sustain a better life for themselves and their families. That notion is what inspired ND to begin with, and is my lifelong goal. And until I get to a point where I am able to start focusing my energy on that, I can at least help in this way. Baby steps! I absolutlely love what Water Collective is doing and how much has been accomplished already!! It’s pretty amazing to see action in motion.

What are you passionate about?
 Where to start….
Being happy & loving as much as possible. Giving back. Meeting special people that “carry the fire” and keeping them in my heart forever. Making the world a better place one small, baby step at a time. Music. Following my heart. & Creating.

What are your summer plans?
I am vending at Electric Forest, so please come check out the Native Daughter Emporium if you will be there! I am also working at Outside Lands in August, and in between I will be spending time by the beach in Virginia, where I’m from, just pouring myself into Native Daughter!! And then of course, needless to say, the occasional hopping around to fill my soul with some sweet, sweet music!

Meet Connor, our summer intern!

We’re super stoked to welcome Connor, our summer intern to our team! We love getting people involved who are passionate about pushing Water Collective to be bigger and better. That’s why we started The Collective, so that anyone who wants to do some good can contribute to our growth according to their skills and talents.

Meet Connor, he’s a junior at Marist College studying Communications & Advertising. He’s working with us as our Communications Manager this summer:

Why did you decide to join the Water Collective team?

I decided to join the Water Collective team in an effort to help raise awareness about the current water crisis occurring in Cameroon. I see The Water Collective as an outstanding cause, one that I am thrilled to now be representing.

What are you passionate about?

My two main passions are music and sports. I am a sports fanatic (Jets Mets Knicks Rangers) Music, all genre’s, my favorite artists would be: Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bob Marley and Led Zeppelin. I also enjoy doing community service work for my local church.

What are your summer plans?

This summer besides interning with The Water Collective, I will be working some weekends at the JDT Rehab Center in Lincoln Park, NJ as a Rehab Technician. For amusement I plan on taking many trips to the jersey shore as well as attending many music festivals and sporting events.
